Daniel M. Anders, Esq., MSCC, CMSP is the Chief Compliance Officer for Tower MSA Partners where he oversees all aspects of regulatory compliance associated with the Medicare Secondary Payer (MSP) statutes and local, state, and federal laws. Dan is an attorney with more than two decades experience helping employers and other payers navigate the complexities of MSP compliance and settle workers’ compensation claims using Medicare Set-Asides.

Dan is a past president of the National Medicare Secondary Payer Network (MSPN). He has been involved in the organization for over a decade, having served on MSPN’s executive committee for several years and co-chairing its Policy & Legislative Committee.


Kate Riordan, JD, MSCC

Kate Riordan is the Director of Automation Initiatives at Verisk. Kate began her career at Verisk as a Medicare Set Aside compliance attorney. In that role, she completed and obtained CMS approval of hundreds of Medicare Set Asides. She is fluent in Section 111 reporting requirements, the conditional payment recovery process, Medicare Advantage, Part D and Medicaid recovery. In addition to providing Medicare compliance Kate is also the product owner for Discovery Navigator, an AI powered tool that automatically enables identification and retrieval of key data points within large unstructured documents.Kate is an elected Board member of the National Medicare Secondary Payer Network (MSP Network) and co-chairs the Policy & Legislative committee as well as a member of the Medicare Advocacy Recovery Coalition (MARC). Kate was recognized in 2023 by the PropertyCasulaty360 Insurance Luminaries program for the innovation behind Discovery Navigator. She is certified by the International Commission on Health Care Certification as a Medicare Set-Aside Certified Consultant. Kate is a member of the Massachusetts bar.

Amber Worman is the Senior Manager of Governance, Compliance & Medicare at Walmart Claims Services, where she drives innovation in operationalizing risk mitigation across the  organization.  She serves as Vice Chair of the Medicare Advocacy and Resource Coalition and is an Executive Member of the National MSP Network Board of Directors, co-chairing the Section 111 & Conditional Payment Lien committee. Her advocacy priority is to bring common sense solutions to public policy collaboration and simplify the MSP regulatory environment.
