This webinar will cover Medicare and Workers’ comp basics: 

    • MSP statute and key MSP regs:  411.22, 411.40 through 411.47
    • Obligations for beneficiaries: Pursue claims, exhaust coverage, repay conditional payments
    • Obligations for payers: Report claims/settlements, ensure repayment, protect Medicare from paying

It will also provide an introduction to WCMSAs. 

The webinar will then review the obligations for Party C and D plans:

    • MSP enforcement obligations: 42 CFR 422.108 & plans’ contracts with CMS
    • Additional MAPD/Part D obligations
    • Plans and WCMSAs

The webinar will also cover gaps, unknowns, and then open it up for questions from participants.
