Liability Conditional Payments - Medicare Parts A, B, C & D and the PAID Act

It is recommended the claimant and the primary payer (insurance carrier, TPA or self-insured)
coordinate the initiation of a Section 111 inquiry with CMS to confirm whether a claimant is a Medicare
beneficiary and if conditional payments have been made. Once the PAID Act is fully implemented, the
names and addresses of all Medicare Part C and/or D plans that the claimant has been enrolled in during
the preceding three-year period, will be available...
